Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service, effective communication, and a thorough understanding of our menu offerings. Your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations, while upselling items when appropriate.
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to tables.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and service stations.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of menu items, food handling practices, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the restaurant industry is required.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
