Job Overview

Join our vibrant hospitality team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Hand, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring food safety standards are met, and supporting the culinary team with basic food preparation. Responsibilities

  • Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Support food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, or assembling ingredients under supervision
  • Assist with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen area, including floors, surfaces, and storage spaces
  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with health regulations
  • Maintain a tidy workstation to promote safety and efficiency during busy service periods
  • Support the culinary team with basic food service tasks such as setting up stations or replenishing supplies as needed
  • Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; willingness to learn is key
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards
