Full job description

Vargas Steakhouse & Sushi, an institution in downtown Montreal for over 20 years is looking for motivated individuals to add to their team (full time and part time with at least 2-5y experience as a sushi cook). If you don't have any experience, we will still consider your application if you are someone that's really motivated and that learns fast.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi rolls and other Japanese dishes according to recipes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures

Skills:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or in a similar role
- Extensive knowledge of sushi preparation techniques, including knife skills and sushi rolling
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

-Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and ingredients
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

As a cook, you will play a crucial role in providing delicious meals to our customers. Your culinary skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success of our kitchen operations.
