Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The Line Cook will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests by ensuring timely and consistent meal preparation.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients
  • Cook dishes with precision, ensuring proper presentation and taste
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station throughout shifts
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
  • Serve dishes promptly to ensure freshness and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy hours
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to keep the station prepared for service
  • Adhere to all restaurant policies regarding hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation and kitchen operations
