Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role plays a key part in creating a positive first impression and ensuring smooth day-to-day service operations. The ideal candidate has a passion for food service, strong customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with food handling and POS systems are considered assets.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Greet and serve guests in a courteous and professional manner
  • Take customer orders accurately using Clover POS or similar systems
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
  • Process cash and electronic payments accurately and efficiently
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, service stations, and utensils
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently followed
  • Assist with basic food preparation when required
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple guests during busy periods
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving concerns promptly

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment preferred
  • Knowledge of POS systems (Clover POS an asset)
  • Friendly, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math
  • Understanding of food handling, sanitation, and safety practices
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak hours as needed
  • Kitchen or food industry experience is an asset but not required
