Full job description

Après Canmore, a speakeasy cocktail-focused lounge in the centre of Canmore, is looking for hard-working, mature and dedicated individuals with a positive and friendly attitude to join our team at our busy location. Applicants have a minimum of two years previous serving experience, must be punctual, able to work in a high volume environment and be great team players!

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Server, you would provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. Each server's primary objective is to show our guests such a marvellous time; they will want to return again and again.

- Take food and beverage orders from guests.

- Enter orders into our point-of-sale system, which relays orders to the kitchen and bar.

- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter.

- Maintain clean service areas.

- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges or make change.

Qualifications and Skills

- Must be able to work weekends!

- Must be Alberta Pro Serve Certified.

- Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.

- At least 2 years of experience in a similar working environment.

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
