Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Servers to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. Previous experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred but not required. This role offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills, enhance food industry knowledge, and be part of a vibrant team dedicated to guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Take and accurately relay customer orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Provide attentive guest services, addressing customer needs and inquiries with professionalism
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate order fulfillment and address special dietary requests

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for billing, cashiering, and transaction management
  • Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in the hospitality industry
  • Kitchen experience or food industry background is advantageous but not required
