Duties

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes to ensure timely meal service
• Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold food safety standards
• Handle food safely by practicing proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
• Serve meals efficiently to guests or staff in accordance with established service protocols
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or equipment issues
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Knowledge of basic food handling practices and safety procedures in the kitchen
• Ability to support food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, and assembling dishes
