Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server, Host and Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests while efficiently preparing and serving drinks in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with POS systems and food safety standards is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the food industry and contribute to an enjoyable guest experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and payment processing
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, tools, and glassware according to food safety standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with accuracy
- Restock bar supplies as needed and monitor inventory levels
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and alcohol regulations
- Assist in serving food when required, supporting overall restaurant operations
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain hygiene standards
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments, especially as a bartender or server
- Strong knowledge of POS systems like Micros POS and cash handling procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy hours
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication skills and a personable demeanor
- Experience with serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations
- Hospitality mindset focused on creating positive guest experiences
