Full job description

Mexican Fiesta is looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver / Cook to join our team in Whistler, BC. This is a hands-on position that combines food preparation, cook duties, and delivery/transport responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes, specifications, and daily kitchen needs.
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, FIFO, labelling, and temperature control standards.
  • Safely load, transport, and deliver food and supplies accurately and on schedule.
  • Keep the delivery vehicle clean, safe, properly equipped, fueled, and maintained.
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing deliveries, inventory, and kitchen supplies.
  • Work effectively with kitchen and restaurant teams while maintaining professional communication and company standards

Requirements

  • Valid Class 5, BC driver’s license and driving experience.
  • Previous experience in a kitchen, food preparation, or line cook position is an asset.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • A valid work permit is required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical duties as required.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
