Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires strong communication skills, efficient time management, and a passion for the food industry. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, including Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed during service and food handling
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
  • Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and resolving issues promptly
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and overall smooth operation

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy
  • Experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or food preparation is beneficial
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating excellent time management skills
  • Prior hospitality or guest services experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided to develop necessary skills

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
