Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team! In this dynamic role, you will be the friendly face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service and efficient cashiering. Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly, take accurate food and beverage orders, and serve with enthusiasm to ensure a memorable dining experience
  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS efficiently for order entry, billing, and cash handling
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, give correct change, and process credit/debit payments with precision
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation areas, dining spaces, and cashier stations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring timely delivery of orders while adhering to food safety protocols
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly while maintaining high-quality service standards

Qualifications

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Reliable time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours
