For over 25 years, Mercatto is all about great food, genuine hospitality, and bringing people together across five locations.


We are looking for a Line Cook to join the Mercatto Centrale team in Port Credit. We’re looking for someone who brings consistency, care, and a genuine interest in Italian-inspired cooking.

Who You Are

  • Comfortable following recipes and procedures to ensure consistency
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and committed to high-quality standards

  • Someone who takes pride in cleanliness, station setup, and prep
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to grow your skills through hands-on training

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and cook menu items from scratch
  • Responsible for executing service across the grill, pizza, and hot appetizer stations with consistency and efficiency
  • Communicate with the kitchen and dining room team to support smooth service
  • Support inventory rotation, restocking, and opening/closing duties
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative kitchen environment
