Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service and maintaining food safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook breakfast items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients
  • Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or servers
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including sanitizing work surfaces and equipment
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently during busy hours while maintaining consistency in taste and presentation
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

  • Prior experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards within the food industry
  • Restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Familiarity with serving techniques and meal presentation is a plus
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper kitchen hygiene standards
