Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent food handling skills, and experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within the food service industry.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
  • Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing, sanitizing, and storing kitchen tools and equipment
  • Support the kitchen team during busy service times by assisting with plating and order assembly
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff
  • Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of supplies needed

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is desirable
  • Experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, meal preparation, and serving procedures will be advantageous
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards
