Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service experience, and a passion for hospitality. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, serving, and kitchen activities
  • Lead and manage restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members
  • Oversee food handling procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Manage cash handling and POS transactions using Micros POS or similar systems
  • Ensure high levels of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment in accordance with health regulations
  • Implement operational policies to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
  • Uphold hospitality standards, creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality roles
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with supervising experience
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
  • Proficiency in POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms; cash handling expertise required
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective communication skills for interviewing, training, and team coordination
  • Experience with food industry standards including food handling, kitchen operations, and hospitality best practices
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
