Be prepared to experience fine dining that pays homage to a classic era of refined elegance. For real carnivores, the best cuts of steak accompanied by an extensive wine menu awaits clients at Chairman's.

Built in the family community of Westman Village, Mahogany, Chairman's Steakhouse is seeking PREP COOK ready to take on the task of bringing it to life.

Those applying should be able to demonstrate their skill set, capabilities and drive to always strive for success. If you have a passion for continuous learning, Chairman's Steakhouse provides a great training program to help you succeed. This position will be in a busy location with high volume and demand. Be sure to include the size of the operations you have previously been employed with.

ABOUT THE JOB

Position: Prep Cook- Day Shift

Terms of Employment: Part-time and Full-time. Candidates must be flexible and can work variable shifts including most days, but also evenings, nights, and weekends.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare and cook full course meals
  • Adjust as necessary for patrons with allergies, intolerance, or social diets
  • Ensure quality of food is top-notch and consistent
  • Follow all recipe and presentation specifications
  • Work with specialized cooking equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas, and all food storage areas meet cleaning standards
  • Clean and maintain station with good safety and sanitation
  • Open to learning and developing culinary skills

Requirements:

  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to communicate well with the back of house and front of house staff
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant is required
