Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a baker. This role involves creating beautiful and delicious baked goods, following recipes , and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in baking, cake decorating, and food preparation, and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills while contributing to a welcoming bakery.

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, etc ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
  • Decorate cakes and desserts with creative designs using various techniques and tools
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
  • Support team members during busy periods by assisting with additional food prep or cleaning tasks as required

Requirements

  • Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation within a restaurant or bakery environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
  • Strong skills in food industry techniques such as baking, cooking, packaging, and food presentation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
  • Kitchen experience including food handling and preparation is highly desirable
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends or holidays if needed
  • A passion for baking, culinary arts, and creating visually appealing desserts is essential
