Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and committed to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to our standards while adhering to food safety and handling regulations.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as needed.
  • Ensure all food is handled safely and stored properly to maintain freshness and quality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and communicate needs to management.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
