CEM Resorts

CEM Resorts is looking for a friendly, attentive, and service-focused Food & Beverage Server (Wait Staff) to join our hospitality team in Toronto. We are seeking someone who enjoys creating memorable dining experiences and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest service.

In this role, you will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals efficiently, and ensuring every guest feels valued throughout their dining experience. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience
  • Present menus, explain specials, and answer guest questions regarding food and beverages
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen team
  • Serve meals and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation and quality standards are met
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare tables before service and maintain cleanliness in dining areas
  • Process payments and handle cash or POS transactions accurately
  • Follow food safety, sanitation, and hospitality standards at all times
  • Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service operations
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as needed

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, resort, hotel, or hospitality setting is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude with a genuine passion for guest service
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required
  • Smart Serve Certification (preferred or required depending on role requirements)
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift light to moderate items when needed
