Duties

• Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly using our POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS software.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
• Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests professionally.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, providing attentive customer service to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Follow all food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene practices are maintained at all times.

Experience

• Prior restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and bartending is a plus.
• Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cash transactions.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
• Previous experience in hospitality roles that involve serving alcohol responsibly is desirable.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
