Overview

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring clarity and efficiency
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments with basic math skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations

Requirements

  • Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology for order processing and cashiering
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently
  • Understanding of food safety practices, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction management
  • Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Excellent communication skills and guest service orientation to create positive dining experiences
