Full job description

We are a growing sales and marketing organization that helps established business-service providers connect with new customers. We specialize in face-to-face business development, customer acquisition, and territory-based sales.

We are looking for a motivated and outgoing Sales Development Representative to prospect for new business, meet directly with business owners and decision-makers, and close new sales within an assigned territory.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities from initial contact through to the completed sale.

This is a field-based position for someone confident in starting conversations, building professional relationships, understanding customer needs, and presenting solutions in person. You will receive hands-on training, ongoing coaching, and a structured sales process designed to help you build your skills and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new business within an assigned local territory
  • Visit businesses in person and speak with owners, managers, and decision-makers
  • Introduce and explain business-service solutions to prospective customers
  • Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products or services
  • Conduct clear and professional sales presentations
  • Respond to questions and overcome customer objections
  • Follow up with interested prospects and maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Negotiate appropriately and close new customer accounts
  • Complete customer applications and required sales documentation accurately
  • Record daily activities, customer interactions, and sales results in the company’s CRM
  • Meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity and sales targets
  • Participate in daily training, coaching, and team development sessions
  • Maintain a professional and positive representation of SalesGamma and its clients

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people
  • Confident presenting products and services face-to-face
  • Goal-oriented, competitive, and motivated by results
  • Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and improve consistently
  • Professional attitude and reliable work habits
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, business development, hospitality, or retail is an asset but not required
  • Access to reliable transportation is an asset due to the field-based nature of the position

What We Offer

  • Comprehensive initial training and ongoing sales coaching
  • Support from experienced sales leaders
  • Clear performance expectations and advancement opportunities
  • Opportunities to develop skills in sales, business development, negotiation, leadership, and territory management
  • A collaborative and performance-driven team environment
  • Recognition and incentives for strong performance
  • Opportunities for increased responsibility based on results

Schedule

  • Full-time availability required
  • Monday to Friday
  • In-person morning training followed by field sales activity
  • Some schedule flexibility may be required depending on business needs and assigned territory

Compensation

Compensation includes base pay/guaranteed bonus, with an uncapped commission structure. Full compensation details and performance requirements will be explained during the interview process.
