Full job description

Belli Pizza is hiring two Pizza Chefs for our in-person Commercial Drive location in Vancouver.

Position details

  • Full-time or part-time
  • 20–40 hours per week
  • Base pay: CA$19.00–CA$21.00 per hour, plus tips
  • Schedule may include weekdays, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Prepare mise en place, pizzas and other menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow food-safety and workplace-safety procedures.
  • Rotate and store ingredients properly and maintain organized prep schedules in a busy, high-volume kitchen.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and complete prep or service tasks assigned by the shift lead.

Required qualifications

  • At least three years of restaurant-kitchen experience.
  • At least one year of pizza-making experience.
  • Valid Food Handler Certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen.
