Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food industry, specifically in an Asian restaurant. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests by delivering high-quality service, managing orders efficiently, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Micros POS system.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and upselling opportunities.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while monitoring their satisfaction.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and proper handling techniques at all times.
  • Assist with training new staff members on restaurant procedures and guest service expectations.
  • Provide assistance with prep in the kitchen on occasion

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
