Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness - Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations - Manage and train restaurant staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses - Create employee schedules and assign duties - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner - Collaborate with the kitchen staff to develop new menu items and specials - Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers - Implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability Experience: - Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role - Strong knowledge of food handling and safety procedures - Proven ability to effectively manage a team of employees - Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism - Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and practices Skills: - Food industry knowledge and experience - Food handling expertise - Experience in food service management or supervision - Strong understanding of food safety regulations and procedures - Ability to cook or assist in cooking when necessary - Team management skills to effectively lead and motivate staff members - Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive dining experience for guests - Hospitality mindset to ensure guests feel welcome and valued Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities, experience, or skills.
