Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, and a passion for the food industry. This role involves managing staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff, including interviewing and hiring new team members
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling to ensure quality and safety standards are met
  • Manage daily restaurant operations, including POS systems such as Micros POS
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Monitor food safety compliance and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas
  • Oversee cash handling procedures and financial transactions accurately
  • Lead team management efforts, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
  • Implement strategies to improve efficiency, sales, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers as needed
  • Uphold hospitality standards and create a welcoming environment for guests

Requirements

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety protocols
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS; barista or hotel experience is a plus
  • Supervising experience with demonstrated team management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
  • Knowledge of food industry regulations, food handling, and kitchen operations
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive work environment
  • Experience with interviewing and onboarding new employees
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is highly preferred
