Summary

We are seeking a Catering Manager to lead our team in delivering high-quality school lunch services. Based in Canada, this role is vital to ensuring our operations run smoothly and meet the needs of our clients while upholding our company's values of health, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food preparation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food service operations.
  • Supervise team members, including interviewing and hiring new staff.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and address client needs.
  • Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed.
  • Manage inventory, POS systems, and cash handling processes.
  • Collaborate with school administrators to plan menus that meet nutritional guidelines.
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and staff performance.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in restaurant or food service management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and food handling procedures.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred.
  • Ability to supervise staff effectively and handle multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational environment is a plus.
