Job Title: Restaurant Manager – Subway

Location: Toronto, ON
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of a Subway restaurant. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of restaurant management experience, strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service while maintaining high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate team members to achieve company standards.
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate employees.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Monitor food quality, food safety, and cleanliness in compliance with Subway and public health standards.
  • Manage inventory, place orders, and minimize food waste.
  • Control labor costs and prepare staff schedules based on business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations.
  • Monitor daily sales, cash handling, and financial performance.
  • Achieve sales targets and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
  • Ensure all Subway operational procedures and brand standards are consistently followed.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of restaurant management experience (Subway or Quick Service Restaurant experience preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of food safety, inventory management, scheduling, and labor control.
  • Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office is an asset.
  • Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
