Assistant General Manager

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 + Bonus

We're looking for an Assistant General Manager who's ready to level up — someone who wants to learn what it takes to run a high-volume restaurant from the front counter to the fryer, and who sees this role for what it is: the launchpad to becoming the mini-CEO of your own store one day.

If you're a high-performing Shift Lead hungry for more, or an emerging leader ready to own the business, then step up — this gig has your name all over it. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with your General Manager, build the skills that drive real results, and put yourself on the fast track to a GM role of your own.

What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Wingstop Superpowers)

  • Leading the Pack: Support your GM in running all store operations, from the front counter to the fryer, keeping the team pumped and the whole store running like a well-oiled machine.
  • Quality & Service Guru: Make sure every wing is crispy, juicy, and packed with our legendary flavour—while delivering next-level customer service.
  • Business Boss Moves in Training: Get hands-on with labour, inventory, scheduling, sales targets, and cost controls—because a well-run store is a happy store, and you're learning to run it.
  • Squad Motivation: Recruit, train, coach, and inspire your team to be the best in the business. Happy crew = happy customers!

What We’re Looking For

  • A track record of leadership in a fast-paced hospitality environment—for example, 3+ years as a Shift Lead/Manager or 1+ year as an Assistant General Manager of a high-volume restaurant. Bonus points for having both back-of-house and full-service front-of-house experience.
  • A growth mindset and the drive to develop into a future General Manager.
  • A people-first leader and natural coach who can build a strong, motivated team and create an amazing workplace culture.
  • Passion for food, flavour, and delivering an unforgettable customer experience.
  • The ability to hustle, problem-solve, and keep cool under pressure—because peak hour gets intense!
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, cash handling, or shift management is a strong asset.
