Vancouver International Airport (YVR) | Lucky Lily Asian Brasserie

$55,346 / year + quarterly & year-end bonus
Comprehensive benefits package

Be part of a bold, chef-driven Asian brasserie at YVR.

Lucky Lily is a modern Asian brasserie delivering elevated flavors, thoughtful technique, and standout hospitality in one of Canada’s busiest airports. This is a chef-inspired, full-service concept with a strong bar program, designed for guests who expect more—even on the move.
We’re looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager who thrives in high-volume environments, leads from the floor, and partners closely with both the Restaurant General Manager and Kitchen Manager to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

This role is ideal for a hospitality leader ready to grow—someone who takes pride in service standards, team development, and operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the day-to-day leadership of a full-service, chef-driven restaurant with bar
  • Lead Front of House and service execution, ensuring strong floor presence and guest engagement
  • Partner with the Kitchen Manager to maintain food quality, timing, and service flow
  • Coach, develop, and motivate hourly team members and supervisors
  • Uphold food safety, alcohol service, and operational compliance standards
  • Assist with scheduling, labor management, inventory, and administrative tasks
  • Monitor systems, ticket flow, and operational priorities during service
  • Step in to solve problems quickly while keeping the guest experience front and center

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant management or supervisory experience in a full-service environment
  • Full-service dining with bar experience required
  • Strong floor leadership and the ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume settings
  • Passion for hospitality, food quality, and service excellence
  • Comfortable working with POS systems, Microsoft Office, and operational tools
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands
  • Ability to obtain Transport Canada security clearance (5-year background check)
  • High School Diploma required; post-secondary education preferred

Why Lucky Lily & SSP Canada

  • A chef-driven concept with a distinctive culinary identity
  • High-energy, high-visibility location at YVR
  • Clear partnership with an experienced RGM and dedicated Kitchen Manager
  • Career progression opportunities with a global food & beverage leader
  • Comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision, PTO, RRSP (w/ company match), EAP, and bonus eligibility

Ready to Grow Your Career?

If you’re passionate about hospitality, energized by busy services, and ready to grow as a leader in a standout restaurant concept — we’d love to meet you.
