Job Summary
Energize your career as an Assistant Operations Manager at the Air Canada Lounge, where you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient functioning of daily operations. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to lead teams, optimize processes, and contribute to overall organizational success. You will assist in managing operational workflows, ensuring high standards of quality and safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol
  • Able to commit to a schedule of evenings. Regular scheduled hours are 3pm - 12am. Weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operational activities across departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Assist in coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks, and monitoring team performance to meet productivity goals.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols, quality standards, and compliance regulations throughout all operational areas.
  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and recommend actionable solutions for process improvements.
  • Facilitate communication between teams, management, and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on objectives.
  • Contribute to inventory management, equipment maintenance, and logistical planning to optimize resource utilization.
  • Lead by example in maintaining a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.

Experience

  • Proven experience in operations management or a related role within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with operational software systems, data analysis tools, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate clearly across all levels of the organization and handle multiple priorities efficiently.
