Full job description

FG Deli Group Ltd. located in Langley BC, is the progressive leader in the manufacturing of premium, quality, European meat products.

Are you passionate about food production and quality craftsmanship? Join our team as a Filling Kitchen Production Worker and play a key role in producing high-quality sausage and salami products. You'll contribute to a safe, efficient, and quality-focused production process that meets our customer expectations and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and change over production equipment to ensure smooth operations
  • Load product into stuffing machines and operate clipping, scaling, and other processing equipment
  • Prepare and wash casings, hang and space products on wagons or racks for further processing
  • Perform quality checks and remove any product not meeting specifications
  • Tag and identify products accurately throughout the production process
  • Report food safety or quality issues to the Team Leader
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and leadership
  • Provide input and suggestions for process improvement
  • Collaborate with the team to support departmental goals and projects
  • Follow all HACCP and SQF food safety guidelines and participate in ongoing training
  • Assist others in meeting food safety compliance standards
  • Adhere to all WorkSafe BC and plant safety regulations

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Training in Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP practices (training provided)
  • High attention to detail and ability to assess product quality
  • Physically capable of frequent bending, twisting, and lifting up to 44 lbs
  • Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand movements
  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated environment (~2°C)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
