Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food production, and maintaining a positive dining experience for our guests. This position requires a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership abilities, and a commitment to food safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and recipe development.
- Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations to ensure efficient food production.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards of quality.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, presentation, and safety practices.
- Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Participate in shift management to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours.
