Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential to ensure smooth kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene. Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.

Responsibilities

  • Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas throughout shifts
  • Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work
  • Ensure proper storage of clean dishes and kitchen supplies according to safety standards
  • Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold sanitation standards
  • Support the kitchen team during busy hours by providing timely assistance with cleaning duties
  • Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures in accordance with facility policies

Requirements

  • Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred but not mandatory
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, food handling, and sanitation protocols
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced setting
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required
