Manager – New Restaurant Opening | Calgary

We are currently searching for a Manager for an exciting new restaurant opening in Calgary, Revelwoods, that will directly report to the General Manager.

This concept is a wood-fired Southern tavern built around exceptional comfort food, genuine hospitality, and a lively, high-energy atmosphere. The menu is rooted in live-fire cooking and Southern influence, bold flavours, quality ingredients, wood-fired meats, elevated comfort dishes, oysters and martinis at the bar, and a hospitality style that feels warm, welcoming, and memorable.

Located in one of Calgary’s standout hospitality spaces, this is an opportunity to join a project with real momentum behind it from day one.

This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who wants more than just another management job. We are looking for someone excited by the opportunity to help shape a new concept, build a strong service culture, and take real ownership over the operational side of the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for all front-of-house day-to-day operations
  • Building, mentoring, and developing the opening service and management team
  • Creating a strong hospitality culture focused on guest experience and team accountability
  • Overseeing scheduling, labour management, and productivity targets
  • Managing service standards, floor leadership, and daily execution
  • Working closely with the Chef and ownership team on operational systems and profitability
  • Assisting with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
  • Monitoring inventory, ordering, and cost controls related to beverage and front-of-house operations
  • Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and operational consistency throughout the restaurant
  • Helping lead the restaurant through a successful opening and continued growth

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous leadership experience in a Manager, or senior hospitality leadership role
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations, labour management, inventory systems, and cost controls
  • A business-minded approach to hospitality leadership
  • Someone who understands that profitability, organization, and consistency matter just as much as great guest experiences
  • Passion for hospitality, team development, and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Ability to lead calmly and positively in a high-energy environment
  • Experience with high-volume service is considered an asset
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Someone who takes pride in building strong teams and developing people
  • Must currently be eligible to work in Canada
  • Must currently be located in Calgary
  • Reliable transportation to and from work is required

Base salary: $50,000

Immediate start available

Opportunity to help lead and shape a brand-new opening

Strong ownership support and long-term growth potential

If you’re interested in being part of an exciting opening and helping build something special from the ground up, we’d love to hear from you.
