Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest services, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and create a welcoming environment for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and supporting overall restaurant operations to deliver a memorable dining experience. Breakfast experience is preferred. Candidate must be available to work every day and ready to start immediately.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
  • Take accurate orders using POS systems, including Micros POS, and relay them to kitchen staff
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed during food handling and serving
  • Assist with food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff as needed
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and dining spaces in accordance with sanitation standards
  • Provide guest services that promote guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of the food industry best practices
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering functions
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
  • Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for accurate bill calculation, change making, and cash handling
  • Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus but not required
  • Ability to upsell menu items effectively to enhance guest experience and sales
  • Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and service excellence

Pay: $17.95-$21.00 per hour
