Full job description

The Insignia Hotel Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is situated in the quaint town of Sarnia in Ontario, Canada. The hotel was built in the ‘60’s and was the pride of the community. In 2018, the hotel was transformed into the luxurious boutique hotel that it is known as today. The Insignia Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel in Sarnia and features 84 rooms and premium meeting and event space, fitness center, and indoor pool.

We are eager to meet with talented, passionate, motivated Guest Service Agent who is looking for a unique opportunity to achieve personal and professional growth.

The primary role will be the face of the hotel- the first person all guests meet with upon arrival, the one that will make our guests feel at ease and welcomed, and create personalized extraordinary experiences.

What you need to bring to the party?

  • Front desk experience preferred but we can teach ya if you are game!

Your Duties: your day could include all or some:

  • You check in and check out guests
  • Make and modify reservations for hotel and restaurant
  • Troubleshoot guest requests
  • Office duties, such as printing papers for the hotel & restaurant
  • Answering calls
  • Continuously relay important room and guest information to other team members.
  • Take and deliver rooms service orders to guest rooms, if needed
  • Ensure each guest is welcomed and provided assistance in a timely professional manner.
  • Provide personal recommendations for hotel services, local events & activities, dining options, transportation and more.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
