Job Overview

Guildford Station Pub is hiring an experienced Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. This role is best suited for someone with solid restaurant experience who can perform consistently during busy service.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to house standards
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of dishes
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Keep stations clean, organized, and service-ready
  • Work efficiently during high-volume service
  • Assist with prep, opening, and closing duties

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen (required)
  • Proven experience working as a line cook
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Food Safe certification (preferred)
  • Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay & Bonus

  • Hourly wage starts at : $21
  • $1,000 total Signing & Retention Bonus
  • $500 paid after successful completion of 3-month probation
  • $500 paid after 1 year of continuous employment
