About Us
At Create Design & CO., we design spaces that inspire and create an experience. From residential developments to commercial interiors, we bring thoughtful, functional, and visually impactful environments to life. As our studio continues to grow, we're looking for a passionate and experienced Intermediate Interior Designer to join our collaborative team.

About the Role
We're seeking a confident, detail-oriented designer with strong creative vision and technical skills who can lead and contribute to projects from concept through to completion. The right candidate thrives both independently and as part of a team and brings a deep understanding of design, documentation, and project coordination. This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio, contributing to all phases of the design process.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support design projects from programming and concept development to working drawings and final execution
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and trades to ensure successful project delivery
  • Prepare and develop detailed drawing packages, material palettes, and concept presentations
  • Review and redline working and shop drawings prior to submission
  • Contribute innovative ideas and creative problem-solving throughout the design process
  • Attend site visits, manage installations, and ensure design intent is realized
  • Log billable hours and project-related expenses using time-tracking tools (e.g., Harvest)
  • Provide mentorship to junior team members and support to senior designers and principal

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant design experience in interior design
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, MS Office, Canva, Enscape, Bluebeam, and familiarity with AI tools and platforms
  • Strong experience in design schematics drawings, lighting plans, material specifications, and FF&E sourcing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills—both written and verbal
  • Exceptional organization and time management; ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Based in the GTA or able to commute reliably to the studio and site locations
  • Comfortable working independently, collaboratively, and under pressure
