Job Description: Assistant Manager

Overview

The Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role at our Kitchener location. You’ll partner closely with the Site Manager to run day-to-day operations, lead and develop your team, drive membership growth, and deliver a consistently outstanding customer experience.

This is a springboard role. Our top Assistant Managers move into Site Manager positions within 12–18 months. If you’re ambitious and customer-obsessed, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Operations & Facility

  • Oversee daily wash operations, opening and closing procedures, and shift handovers.
  • Ensure the facility and lot are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections; identify and escalate maintenance issues promptly
  • Supervise and train car wash attendants to uphold quality standards and strictly adhere to safety protocols
  • Assist with inventory management including chemical levels, supplies, and equipment consumables

Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise, coach, and motivate a team of car wash attendants on every shift
  • Assist in onboarding, and training new team members to Revive standards
  • Manage staff schedules to ensure efficient coverage across all shifts
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins and recognize team achievements
  • Model the culture of excellence — lead by example

Customer Experience

  • Set the tone for exceptional guest interactions on every shift
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly

Membership & Revenue

  • Actively promote and sell Revive’s unlimited wash memberships on site
  • Track membership sales and retention metrics; report to the Site Manager
  • Assist in implementing marketing initiatives to attract new customers and grow the member base
  • Identify upsell opportunities and coach the team on membership conversion techniques

What We’re Looking For

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 1–2+ years of supervisory or shift-lead experience (All industries are considered)
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors in all seasons.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid driver’s licence

Nice to Have

  • Experience in car wash, retail, quick-service restaurant, or similar high-volume service environment
  • Familiarity with POS or membership management systems
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment or facility maintenance
  • Post-secondary education in business, hospitality, or a related field

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive Salary: $52,500 $60,000(based on experience)
