Job Title: Concierge/Front Desk Supervisor

At Executive Hotel Le Soleil, we believe in delivering a luxury experience that exceeds guest expectations at every turn. As the Concierge, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that each guest’s stay is unforgettable. You will blend personalized, attentive hospitality with the crucial leadership role of supporting the front desk. In this role, you will act as a key contact for individual, corporate, and group clients while ensuring seamless guest interactions and efficient front desk operations. Your commitment to excellence will help elevate the guest experience and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Concierge Duties:

  •     Review hotel arrivals and meeting room bookings to identify top VIPs.
  •     Provide warm, personalized service that exceeds guest expectations through curated experiences.
  •     Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and concerns, ensuring a memorable hotel experience.
  •     Offer information about local attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, and other services/excursions.
  •     Ensure a seamless arrival and departure experience for all VIP guests, adjusting work schedules to greet VIPs curbside and being available at departure.
  •     Conduct housekeeping room inspections pre-arrival, during stay, and post-departure to ensure all requests are met.
  •     Maintain contact with clients during their stay to proactively assess their level of satisfaction.
  •     Ensure all hotel team members are aware of VIP preferences and schedules.
  •     Efficiently and warmly check in guests, using their names whenever possible.
  •     Assign correct room types and rates, arrange for luggage delivery, and issue keys.
  •     Check out guests, ensuring satisfaction, collecting keys, and settling bills accurately.
  •     Resolve guest complaints and handle all interactions with the highest level of professionalism and hospitality.
  •     Utilize various computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports, and block rooms for arriving guests.
  •     Accept reservations, changes, and cancellations, and direct calls in the absence of Reservations Staff.
  •     Assist with Concierge, Bell Staff, and lobby coverage during peak times or staff absence.
  •     Provide basic troubleshooting support for in-room services (Internet, TV, etc.).
  •     Serve as the Manager on Duty (MOD) on a rotation basis.
  •     Work closely with HK and Front desk team to ensure smooth handling of luggage, deliveries, and special requests.
  •     Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

  •     Passionate about delivering outstanding service.
  •     Organized and detail oriented.
  •     3-5 years of previous 5-star guest satisfaction experience.
  •     Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  •     Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
  •     High level of creativity, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
  •     Good knowledge of Vancouver is required.
  •     Self-motivated, decisive, and driven to achieve goals.
  •     Strong multi-tasking skills and able to remain calm under pressure.
  •     Ability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.
  •     Minimum 2 years of experience as a Concierge.
  •     Relevant experience in a luxury hotel setting.
  •     Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  •     Experience with property management systems is an asset.
  •     College education in Hospitality preferred or equivalent experience.
  •     Valid Driver’s License required.

Pay: From $28.61 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
