Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant Manager to lead Le Crocodile by Rob Feenie. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and foster a positive team environment. Your leadership will drive food quality, safety standards, and operational excellence, creating memorable experiences for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the success of an iconic restaurant while developing your leadership skills in a fast-paced food industry setting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and kitchen operations, to ensure high standards of quality guest experience.
  • Supervise and motivate staff, including hiring, interviewing, training, and performance management to build a cohesive team.
  • Oversee cash-handling procedures and POS (Point of Sale) systems, such as Micros POS, to ensure accurate transactions.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Monitor customer service levels, address guest concerns promptly, and ensure a welcoming hospitality environment.
  • Manage group booking process and OpenTable with management team
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff on food industry best practices, menu execution, and food presentation.
  • Lead by example in supervising food-industry procedures, ensuring an efficient workflow from food prep to serving.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the restaurant to uphold cleanliness, safety protocols, and overall restaurant experience.

Experience

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service environment with a strong background in restaurant management.
  • Extensive food service experience in food handling procedures.
  • Demonstrated team management skills with experience in interviewing and training staff members.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing.
  • Previous hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous for understanding fine dining guest expectations and service standards.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety regulations, and restaurant experience is essential.
  • Barista experience or bar management background is a plus for versatile beverage service skills.
  • Leadership qualities combined with excellent customer service skills to foster a positive dining environment across all shifts.
