Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing ingredients and dishes, ensuring smooth kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the food industry and eager to develop their culinary skills in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Duties

  • Prepare ingredients by chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning as per recipes and standards
  • Assist in cooking and assembling dishes according to menu specifications
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and equipment
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Support the kitchen team during meal service to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Assist with inventory management and storage of food items

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in cooking or food preparation within a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
