Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and food items while providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Candidate shall provide support and training to crew and able to supervise sandwich artists in the day to day successful operation of the restaurant. This role requires attention to food safety, sanitation, and timely food preparation to ensure customer satisfaction. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals with a passion for food service. The position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation, cashiering, and upselling within a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches and food items according to company standards and recipes
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage time effectively to ensure quick service during busy hours
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and answering questions about menu items
  • Upsell additional products or upgrades to enhance customer experience and sales
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and provide correct change as needed
  • Follow all food handling and safety procedures to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during shifts

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of POS systems, including Micros POS, is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
  • Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
  • Kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
