Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Indian Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for authentic Indian cuisine, excellent food handling skills, and a strong background in food preparation and service. This role offers an opportunity to showcase culinary talents while contributing to a vibrant dining environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook authentic Indian dishes, ensuring adherence to traditional recipes and presentation standards
  • Serve food to customers in a timely and courteous manner, maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients for various dishes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and safety procedures
  • Ensure all food safety regulations are followed, including proper storage, sanitation, and handling of ingredients
  • Support the team during busy hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and serving duties
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant or catering service

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service, particularly in Indian cuisine or similar culinary traditions
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards within the food industry
  • Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and kitchen operations in a restaurant setting

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Prior restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
