Full job description

The Bertossi Group’s is seeking a dynamic and outgoing Guest Services Manager who possesses a passion for luxury hospitality, along with an interest in leading the team in providing an elevated dining experience .

As a personal representation of the service and overall brand, it is the job of the Guest Services Manager to ensure all our guests feel welcomed and appreciated. They lead the host team and model positive and engaging behaviour to ensure our hosts feel valued and understand the importance of their contribution to the overall success of the guest experience.

Responsibilities::

· Create a positive guest experience that begins with a friendly greeting and warm smile

· Cultivate loyal patrons; recognize and acknowledge repeat guests

· Accurately take reservations that optimize each service period

· Maximize sales through private and corporate bookings

· Efficiently maintain and organize restaurant by managing guest flow while maximizing seating capacity

· Escort guests to their table, engage them in conversation and seat them accordingly

· Maintain knowledge of menu items, table numbers and server sections

· Handle guest complaints quickly and efficiently - seek management assistance, if needed

· Prepare station chart and assign stations to staff following restaurant procedures

· Assist in the scheduling of the host team

· Train new hosts, ensure their training plan is complete

Qualifications:

  • You have at least 2+ years of Guest Services experience in an elevated hospitality based environment
  • Proven ability to lead teams to success through strong sales performance in high end hospitality environments
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, and weekends is required
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while also being committed to creating an amazing customer experience
