Step into Leadership at one of Nisku’s Premier Sports & Entertainment Venues

About Summit

Summit is a high-energy restaurant located inside a busy sports and entertainment facility. We serve large crowds during games, tournaments, concerts and special events. We pride ourselves on fast, friendly service, strong teamwork and providing an exceptional guest experience.

We are currently hiring Restaurant Managers for various leadership positions. We are looking for dependable, energetic individuals who can support our employees and keep the restaurant running smoothly during regular service and high-volume events.

The Role

Our Restaurant Managers help oversee daily operations before, during and after events. These are hands-on leadership positions for people who can confidently manage a team, maintain service standards and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support employees during regular service and live events
  • Assist with training, coaching and motivating team members
  • Coordinate between the Front and Back of House to ensure smooth service
  • Help manage event execution, crowd flow and service timing
  • Maintain high standards for guest service, cleanliness and organization
  • Ensure food-safety, liquor-service and facility policies are followed
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Complete opening and closing responsibilities
  • Help manage staffing, inventory, labour and operational costs
  • Take charge during busy service periods when required

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is required
  • Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred
  • Experience in a high-volume or event-based environment is an asset
  • Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make confident decisions during busy periods
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends and event days
  • Valid ProServe certification, or willingness to obtain it
