Join the Tubbies Team in Woodbridge

Tubbies is a growing family-owned breakfast and lunch restaurant company known for great food, friendly service, and strong community connections. As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and motivated Cooks to join our culinary team.

Whether your experience comes from breakfast restaurants, casual dining, short-order cooking, or high-volume kitchens, we'd love to meet you.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering the quality food and service our guests have come to expect. You will be responsible for meal preparation, station organization, food quality, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Prior experience with breakfast menus is an asset but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, portioning, and marinating as needed
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to company recipes and quality standards
  • Assist with station setup, food preparation, and daily kitchen organization
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with fellow kitchen team members to ensure timely meal preparation and service
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management as required
  • Participate in daily and weekly cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation of all dishes during service
  • Support efficient kitchen operations during peak business periods

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of food handling and food safety practices
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Dependable and punctual attendance
  • Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills
  • Breakfast cooking experience is an asset but not required
