Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the kitchen by assisting with food preparation and ensuring that all ingredients are ready for our chefs. This position requires a passion for cooking and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Prepare and chop ingredients for meals, including vegetables, meats, and sauces.
  • Assist in cooking and assembling dishes as directed by the head chef or kitchen manager.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including utensils and equipment.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all food is handled properly.
  • Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying management of shortages.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
  • Participate in daily cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary kitchen environment.
