Job Title: Delivery Driver – Food Importing Company

Location: Mississauga Ontario, Canada

About Us:

We are a leading food importing and distribution company, supplying premium products to retailers, restaurants, and wholesalers across Ontario. We are seeking a dependable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities – You will be responsible for:

  • Verifying loaded product against customer orders and shipping requests
  • Making scheduled deliveries to customers
  • Unloading product at customer locations (including hand-bombing when required)
  • Picking up product returns and ensuring proper documentation is completed before returning items to the warehouse
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing client concerns in a professional manner
  • Operating the company vehicle (5 ton truck) safely, in compliance with MTO requirements and company policies
  • Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications – You will have the following skills and experience to be successful in this role:

Minimum of 3 years of driving experience with a proven record of safe deliveries

  • Valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers
  • Ability to manage time effectively for on-time deliveries
  • Self-motivated and disciplined, able to work independently
  • Proficient reading, writing (in English), and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Details:

  • Hours: 7:15 AM – 5:00 PM (subject to change depending on delivery schedule)
  • Eligible for company benefits after 3 months
  • Competitive pay (to be discussed based on experience)
